African History Challenge

Our annual African Heritage Challenge was held on Saturday, April 22nd. The students were grouped together and the two teams competed against each other, for the Champion African Heritage trophy and special individual prizes. Questions ranged from early ancient African history, across the seas to the Caribbean and to North America and back to current day Africa. Every corner of the world was covered including major inventions by famous Africans. The students were able to answer a significant majority of the questions and they certainly had great fun, as evidenced in these pictures. Teachers were heard talking about preparations for next years challenge.
