Women In Rwanda
Women in Rwanda, a newly formed organization in Toronto, dedicated to helping women genocide survivors in Rwanda.... visited ACHA to discuss Rwandan history and the circumstances surrounding the 1994 genocide. Their presentation included a brief history of Rwanda by Michel, and a personal story of survival, courage and inspiration by Claire Whigora. A 15 minute film was also presented that featured Claire as a genocide survivor, who now resides in Toronto and whio is trying to help woment in Rwanda After the very moving presentation....a donation box was passed around to collect funds to help Women in Rwanda 'Chest of Hope' project.
